Ho Wood Essential Oil, also know as Shui oil, smells very much like Rosewood and is often used as a less expensive substitute. An interesting fact is that the Ho Wood plant produces three different types of oil depending on soil conditions, altitude, growing climate etc. The species cinnamomum camphora produces Ravintsara, Camphor and Ho Wood from the different chemotypes of the plant. Ho Wood is high in linalool content and is best used for soothing and relaxing the nerves.
